Vaginal dryness may occur not only during the post-menopausal period (the main symptom of atrophic vaginitis) but also during breastfeeding, after radiotherapy, or chemotherapy. Decreased vaginal mucosal moisture and wall elasticity cause pain during intercourse, itching, or burning of genitals. Vaginal dryness not only disrupts normal sex life but can cause pain when urinating, increasing the susceptibility to vaginal infections.

The hyaluronic acid which is in Lotamil ovules moisturizes and lubricates the mucose membranes eliminates the feeling of dryness. the efficacy of atrophic vaginitis in relieving symptoms is not inferior to topical estrogen preparations. One ovule contains as much as 10 mg of hyaluronic acid.

Each 2 g  Ovule contains 10 mg of Hyaluronic acid, 60mg of polycarbophil, lactic acid to PH 3.5, 5 mg tocopherol acetate,  2  mg of Vitamin A, 15 mg of 18-beta glycyrrhetinic acid, 2 mg of tea tree oil, 2 mg of phosphatidylcholine, half synthetic triglycerides up 2 g.
